General Terms & Conditions of booking

  • Bookings are only confirmed when both the completed booking form and full payment are received.

  • We ask for health information on the booking form in order to provide a safe activity. For this reason, only a child's legal parent/guardian can complete the form.

  • Cancellation by you: If you need to cancel your booking you may be entitled to a refund depending on the notice given. Cancellation notice must be given in writing (email is best). A processing fee may apply to some refunds.

    • Cancellation more than 7 days from session date – full refund or new date

    • Cancellation less than 7 days – no refunds or new date

  • Cancellation by us: We reserve the right to cancel if the minimum number of participants is not met. If your session is cancelled by us you will be offered an alternative date, credit voucher or a refund. Take note that we cannot offer compensation for expenses incurred (such as accommodation or travel). For everyone's safety, we may have to cancel or modify a mountain bike session based on weather, trail conditions, group ability or other environmental aspects, potentially with little or no notice. We will always strive to give as much notice as possible and make suitable arrangements.

  • The safety of participants is always our number one priority and high standards of professionalism are practised. However mountain biking is a hazardous activity and participants must accept full responsibility for their actions.

  • We reserve the right to end the session early for all or certain participants if their actions are deemed to put the safety and enjoyment of others at risk.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any bike or other equipment that we consider to be unsafe or unsuitable for the session. If you are unsure about the safety or suitability of equipment you can seek advice from a local bike shop or get in touch with us. Any issues must be remedied before attending the session. Whilst our instructors are also qualified bike mechanics, it is simply unfair on the other participants to deal with issues arising from inadequate equipment maintenance at the start of a session.

  • By booking, you understand and agree that it is your responsibility to arrange your own insurance to cover any personal injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and for your cancellation. Our instructors are covered by Public Liability and Professional Indemnity policies, but this cover does not extend to participants. No cover is offered to you for personal injury, belongings or cancellation.

  • Mountain bike activities carry an element of risk (including tick/other insect bites). Whilst our policies and procedures minimise this risk, it cannot be removed completely. By booking and accepting these terms, you accept this risk. If booking for your child, you accept this on their behalf. You confirm that the participants listed on the booking have an appropriate level of fitness and ability for the activity and that you will notify us of any changes to the participant's ability to participate.

Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable but remain valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Gift vouchers have no cash value.

  • Sessions booked by redeeming a gift voucher are not eligible for refunds. An alternative date or a reissued voucher will be offered.

  • The system cannot "give change" and any unspent credit is lost when a code is redeemed. We usually issue orders as multiple codes of smaller values to help you use all the credit and will issue new codes for unspent credit - just let us know.
